The Blueberry/Art Festival, Ely’s signature summer event, features more than 290 artists, crafters and makers, and 25 food vendors and musicians. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the festival that now draws over 40,000 people during the three-day event to enjoy fine art, quality crafts and great food.
The festival is held in Ely’s beautiful Whiteside Park where you can find wood and leather products, metal art, photography, paintings, jewelry and pottery, and many other unique hand-crafted items. Free musical entertainment daily. Activities for the children. A wide variety of delicious food ranging from blueberry pancakes, blueberry pie ala mode and other festival favorites.
Local retail businesses and restaurants catch blueberry fever too. Stop by participating retail businesses to shop their unique blueberry wares. Restaurants will serve up delicious salads, desserts, and cocktails too.
Make it a weekend and enjoy hiking, day canoe trips, museums, and other attractions. Refresh and relax in one of Ely’s beautiful lodging facilities after a fun day of shopping, dining, and other activities. Don’t forget to book early!
